Dick and Jane
"Our Big Book" Pages

from the
Teacher's Edition Big Book
"We Look and See"

1940's Teacher's large poster sized pages measuring 24 1/2 inches x 18 3/4 inches. Used as a teaching aid on an easel at the front of the classroom to use along with the student's edition books. Each page replicates a single page in a child's book so the student could follow along in their book - or read along with the teacher and classmates out loud. These pages look great framed! These pages are double sided, which will allow the customer to choose which side to show in a frame. These extremely rare illustrations are not framed or matted to reduce the total cost, including shipping. A beautiful piece of nostalgia!
Most of the flaws are in the margins of these large illustrations and can be matted to hide the flaws.

'On S'Amuse

FRENCH version of
"Fun With Dick and Jane"'

RARE!
1946 Cathedral reader. This is an EXTREMELY RARE French edition Dick and Jane first grade primer… a revision of the English version: "Fun With Dick and Jane". This book is all in French. The cover is exactly like the American 1947 Cathedral Edition. No shelf wear, no marks, no tears, no smudging and no school stamps. The ONLY flaw this book has is the library marking on the spine... white letters on black background in a 1 inch by half inch area on the lower part of the spine. This very hard-to-find FRENCH Edition reader would be a great, unique addition to a Dick and Jane collection!! I am grading this book Near Mint due to the library marking on the spine, otherwise it would grade Mint condition.10746

Dick and Jane's Friends plus Jane

Betty and Bobby
'Number Stories - Book Two'

1946-47 ex-school, 2nd math primer. Beautiful lithograph illustrations. Children include Jane, Bobby, Betty and Jack with Bobby's dog Bingo. One small exercise has been completed in pencil and the table of contents page has ink lines. The most endearing part of this book is the addition made by a child to the front blank end paper while bored in Math class long ago. The child has written: "Gary is not good today. He plays with Billy. Like Lora Lee." Then she drew an arrow pointing to a picture of Lora Lee wearing a smile and medium length hair. Humorous and endearing! The book is in very good condition if you don't count the artwork listed above.HJ177
